Ok, so by now I think we can determine that you're visiting
my site on purpose. Why, I cannot say. I guess that means
that I need to talk about myself.
My real name is Patrick ******. I'm sixteen years old,
living in the Northwest of the good old US of A. I attend
***** High School, and will be entering my junior year this
year. Exciting, I know. When I'm not talking about myself
on useless webpages that nobody will ever see, I'm usually
busy surfing the internets, checking to see if webcomics
have been updated (Penny Arcade has nothing on VG Cats, I'm
sorry), or playing video games. Or, I'll be papercrafting
(a new hobby that I'll probably give up by the time I
finish writing this), drawing, or reading manga.
I play quite a few video games, although lately I've been
focusing on other media such as television, the interwebs,
and music. The latter is the most worrisome, because I
swore once that I would never get sucked into the iHype,
but here I am, months later (year later sounded so much
less impressive), downloading Flogging Molly onto my tiny
black Pop Tart. Which brings me to my next point; I like
Flogging Molly, Weird Al Yankovich, and misc. other
artists/groups that have caught my fancy. As a general
rule, though, outside of these two artists, I go on songs I
like rather than groups. Therefore, you'll find Cherry
Poppin' Daddies, Harry and the Potters, Joe Satriani, Enya,
and The Police (to name a few) on my iPod with only one or
two songs in each.
...Wait! My original point in the above paragraph was the
games I like! Well, to get belatedly back on topic, I'm
currently playing Lost Planet, Death Jr. II, Animal
Crossing: Wild World, Odin Sphere, and assorted free online
MMORPGs. I'm what certain experts like to call a "casual
gamer", not in the sense that Bejeweled on my cellphone is
"hardcore" to me, but that I'm not all that good and don't
pursue further talent. I play for enjoyment, not to get
some masochistic kick out of getting the last Achievement
on Gears of War on the hardest difficulty setting (Extreme?
Legendary? Painful?). It's a hobby, not a lifestyle. My
Gamerprofile is chaos730, so feel free to look me up
sometime.
I enjoy manga, too, and am currently reading Naruto (vol.
15), and Bleach (vol. 20). I'm not a "Narutard", and I will
kill you if you say otherwise. It is in fact possible to
like the series without cosplaying and buying the
merchandise and quoting the show.
Speaking of shows, I watch those sometimes! Specifically, I
watch Family Guy. Um... I really don't watch that much
else, which is a little shocking to me. I was expecting an
extensive list of like two items, and here I am with just
one! For shame. Actually, I'm kidding. I watch American
Inventor, America's Got Talent (mainly so I can laugh at
"The Hoff"), and Heroes, as well as Las Vegas, occasionally
Lost, and assorted old sitcoms that have been finished for
years now (Friends, 8 Simple Rules, etc.).
Let's see... what's left. I like to draw. A lot. I'm hoping
to get a job as a concept artist for a company like
Square-Enix, but we'll see how that fantasy plays out. If
you want to see my skills of an artist (if you don't get
that reference, get off my site), check out my DeviantArt
profile, spaceinvader91.
I think that's it. If I think of more, I'll add it.
Goodbye. *signing out*
